for a while I've been thinking about writing a short story about a global superorganism and clearly I'm not the only person who's thought about it (and nor is he).... Having said that I spend a lot of time daydreaming about constructive and creative things I could do, and then never doing them....

so that's how they distress jeans - I often wondered, though I daresay it's usually done by starving people in the developing world who have to work fifteen hours a day for 20p. What a lot of whingers in the comments section - personally I want my jeans to be at least a little bit distressed or it looks like you were dressed by your mum...

I don't what the video is but this was one of my favourite songs which I recorded off the radio when I was about 13, from the american chart show on Radio 1 presented by Paul Gambaccini - who knew I was so soppy. His voice always reminds me of those times too. I only just rediscovered this song and it's amazing how much music can take you back to another time...



I bought the new Keane album today (which is good) and before I left the house to go to the shops I thought to myself in years to come when I listen to the album it will take me back to now, just like the previous albums take me back...
